Please read these terms before placing an order with key.
1. Who we are
key is a trading name of Fairbairn Brands Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under number SC901288. Our registered office is 3 Yarrow Place, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH4 8FY.

2. Placing an order
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
Please check your order details, including your chosen products, clothing sizes and delivery address, before paying.
3. Products
We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different on your screen, and small variations may occur between products. Please read the product description and, for clothing, check the size guide before ordering.
These terms do not affect your rights if a product is faulty or does not match its description.
4. Order confirmation and acceptance
After you place an order, we'll email you to confirm that we've received it. We accept your order when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch notification. This is when the contract between you and Fairbairn Brands Ltd is formed.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we'll contact you and refund any payment taken for the affected items.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes. Delivery charges are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
We may change prices, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted.
6. Discount codes
Unless a particular offer says otherwise, discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash, combined with other offers or applied to an order after it has been placed. Any additional conditions will be stated with the offer.
7. Availability
Products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we'll contact you to discuss an alternative or provide a refund for that item.
8. Shipping and delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom using Royal Mail. Standard delivery is £3.50, or free on orders of £50 or more. Dispatch times and estimated delivery times are explained in our Shipping & Delivery page.
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. If you notice an error, email us as soon as possible and we'll try to correct it before dispatch. If a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, we may charge the cost of sending it again.
Delivery times are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a guaranteed delivery date. If your order has not arrived, contact us and we'll investigate.
9. Cancellations, returns and refunds
You can find out how to cancel or return an order in our Returns & Refunds Policy. That policy forms part of these terms.
We do not offer direct change-of-mind exchanges. If you want another size, colour or design, you can return the original item in line with the returns policy and place a new order.
10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, email hello@youarekey.co.uk and we'll work with you to put it right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
11. Temporary tattoos
Our temporary tattoos are for external use only. Please read and follow the instructions supplied with your pack and the guidance on our Tattoo Safety & FAQ page.
We recommend trying the included test tattoo on a small area first. Do not apply tattoos near the eyes or mouth or to broken, irritated or sensitive skin. If irritation occurs, stop use and gently remove the tattoo. Seek medical advice if a reaction is significant or persists.
12. Clothing care
Please follow the care instructions supplied with your clothing. If you have a concern about an item, contact us. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty.
13. Our content and designs
The key name, branding, original product designs, photographs and website content belong to Fairbairn Brands Ltd or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce or use them commercially without permission.
14. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Events outside our control
Sometimes events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather or postal disruption, may affect an order. If this happens, we'll take reasonable steps to minimise the disruption and keep you informed. Your statutory rights still apply.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you order applies to that order.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by Scots law. You may bring a consumer claim in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
